A Costumed Drama and evocative period re-enactment performances for a commemorative event on 3 August 2014.
The event includes re-enactors in costume. The performers will recreate an Edwardian scene, and will re-enact hospital activity. The actors will read letters previously researched by Archives staff and will remain in character throughout the afternoon of the event. Live music consisting of World War I songs will take us back to those lurid times.
